Hospitality leadership & business performance

Designing better businesses starts with understanding people.

Over 15 years, I’ve worked across hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes, wineries, events, tourism and hospitality businesses, leading teams of all sizes, opening or renovating venues, transforming operations, and partnering with owners through growth, change and complexity.

I’ve worked alongside businesses at every stage: launching new concepts, rebuilding underperforming operations, navigating periods of significant change, and helping owners transition from working in their business to confidently leading it.

Along the way, one pattern became impossible to ignore. The businesses that consistently performed weren’t necessarily the ones working the hardest. They were the ones intentionally designed where leadership was clear, teams understood what great looked like, systems supported people rather than creating friction, and commercial decisions were made with confidence.

That belief became the foundation of Trengove Collective.

I created Trengove Collective to partner with ambitious hospitality businesses that want more than advice. Owners don’t need another report or another opinion. They need a trusted partner who has walked this path before, someone who isn’t afraid to ask the difficult questions, uncover the real challenges, and stay alongside them while meaningful change happens.

Every engagement is personally led by me, with trusted specialists brought in where they add genuine value. That means every client receives dedicated senior support, with the flexibility to access broader expertise when it’s needed.

My philosophy

Great hospitality starts with people.

I’ve always believed that when people feel seen, heard and valued, they perform with greater confidence, create exceptional guest experiences and build stronger businesses.

For me, commercial success and exceptional culture aren’t competing priorities, they’re deeply connected.

That’s why I focus on designing businesses where people, performance and purpose thrive together.

Beyond the business

Outside of work, I recharge in nature, enjoy discovering hidden food and wine gems with friends, and prioritise movement through Pilates, yoga or a run. Staying active helps me bring energy, perspective and clear thinking to both life and business, along with my strong almond cap of course!

I’m endlessly curious about people, places and experiences. Whether I’m travelling or simply visiting a local café, I’m usually the one asking questions, chatting with the team, noticing the little details that elevate an experience, and making sure the people behind it are recognised.

Because hospitality isn’t just what I do, it’s how I see the world.

I believe in building better businesses where people thrive, leaders grow with confidence, and success is designed to last.

Where people thrive, performance follows.
